Co-Founder, Chief Scientific Officer
Gavin is a world-pioneering Registered Equine Osteopath with more than 30 years of clinical experience and over 120,000 treatments delivered. He has worked at the highest levels of international equestrian sport, including with the British Equestrian Team.
An experienced academic, educator and international lecturer, Gavin has taught equine practitioners and professionals around the world. He is also the creator of 3D Point of Balance, a pioneering approach to understanding equine balance, posture, movement and performance.
His clinical, scientific and academic expertise underpins EquiCheck's equine ontology, product development and scientific foundations.
Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Amanda brings more than 20 years of senior commercial leadership, business development and growth experience across the life sciences and technology sectors. A graduate of Imperial College London and a British Horse Society-qualified riding instructor, she has been immersed in horses and the equine world since childhood.
She leads EquiCheck's company strategy, commercial development, fundraising, industry partnerships and growth, working closely with Co-Founder Gavin Scofield to shape the platform's direction, vision, and long-term impact.
Chief Technology Officer
Frederick is a senior technology leader with extensive experience building and scaling complex digital products, platforms and high-performing engineering teams.
His previous leadership roles include Vice President and Head of Technology at EA Games and Respawn Entertainment.
He brings deep expertise in product engagement, behavioural design and the intelligent use of game mechanics to create intuitive experiences that encourage consistent, long-term participation. At EquiCheck, he leads the technology strategy, product architecture and development of a platform designed to become part of everyday horse care.

Dave leads EquiCheck's core engineering and product development.
He translates EquiCheck's equine knowledge, ontology, data structures and technical requirements into a secure, practical and scalable platform. With experience developing resilient, mission-critical and military-grade systems, Dave brings deep expertise in robust architecture, data integrity, security and reliable performance.
His work ensures that EquiCheck is not simply an intuitive product for everyday users, but a high-assurance technology platform capable of supporting complex equine data and the future requirements of major industry partners.

Royal Veterinary College graduate and former Bell Equine partner and director, with 25 years of clinical experience spanning first-opinion, referral, lameness, performance, racehorse and emergency-surgery work.
Holds an RCVS Certificate in Equine Orthopaedic Surgery — a specialist orthopaedic qualification underpinning the clinical rigour applied to EquiCheck's veterinary governance framework.
Provides veterinary governance, clinical-safety oversight and maintains the clear, essential boundary between observation and intelligence on one side, and diagnosis on the other.

Former MD of Multiplay — built one of the world's leading B2B game-server infrastructure platforms, supporting major AAA online titles at global consumer scale before its acquisition by Unity in 2017.
